Alpine’s perforated slat Counter-Vision® shutters provide security for school cafeterias, healthcare facilities, pharmacies, parts counters, ticket counters, bank counters, hospitals and airport concessions, among other applications.

Installation
- Rolling Counter Shutters as manufactured by Alpine Overhead Doors, Inc. are durable, sturdy and economical to install and maintain.
- Opening preparation, miscellaneous or structural metal work, access doors, finish or field painting, field electrical wiring, wire, conduit, fuses and disconnect switches are in the scope of work of other divisions or trades.
CURTAIN
The curtain consists of interlocked, perforated roll-formed 1-1/4”baby flat slats, 1/2” deep, made of 22 gauge galvanized steel, Structural Quality Grade D, as per ASTM A653/A653-M.
Material Options: #4 Stainless Steel.
Finish Options: Finish Coat of Grey or choice of 188 colors of ExoShield™ powder coating.

STEEL STAMPED ENDLOCKS
Steel stamped endlocks riveted to the ends of each alternate slat to prevent lateral movement and limit the deflection of the curtain.
BOTTOM BAR
Two galvanized steel angles, designed to reinforce the bottom of the curtain. Equipped with rubber astragal or an optional sensing edge. Options: Single angle, Extruded Aluminum Tubular or Laser Cut Tubular for shutters up to 8’0” wide.
GUIDES
Steel guides are Laser cut 12 gauge steel frame encased and fitted with removable bellmouth curtain stops, to allow for curtain maintenance without removal of the guides. Bellmouth stops shall be flush with the guide groove.
COUNTERBALANCE ASSEMBLY
The steel pipe barrel is a size capable of carrying a curtain load with a max. deflection of 0.03” per foot opening width. The helical torsion spring is encased in a barrel designed to require minimum effort to operate the rolling curtain and bottom bar. A Torsion Spring charge wheel is used for applying spring torque and for future adjustments. Option: Stainless steel or Zinc Enriched Powder Coat.
HOOD
Square in galvanized steel.
LOCKING
Optional padlockable slide locks for latching and locking the door on the coil side of the bottom bar. Also optional cylinder locks. Electric Interlocks recommended with motorized doors.
Available in push-up, hand chain, or motor operation.

Counter-Vision® shutters have all of the same great features as the Counter-Shutter®, with the benefits of Alpine’s perforated curtain. The Counter-Vision® roll up shutter is practical for small openings and are specifically designed for pass-through openings such as service counters, windows, concession stands and cafeteria counters. The perforated slats of the interior counter door provide visibility, ventilation and versatility while maintaining the aesthetic harmony of any building decor. Most importantly, Alpine counter doors provide excellent protection against theft and unauthorized entry.
